Sneak Preview of Clover 2

Nov 13, 09:38 PM

Today we published a few sample reports from Clover 2 , a major rewrite of our award-winning Code Coverage Analysis tool. Clover 2 has a bunch of new features, but two stand-outs in my (slightly biased) opinion are:

Integrated test results and per-test coverage.

See results of test runs right next to the coverage that those tests produced, down to the statement level. See what tests hit what classes, and what contribution each test makes to the overall coverage score.

Coverage Cloud reports.

Gives an instant overview of the project hotspots with different goals in mind. The “Project Risks” report shows highly complex uncovered classes; The “Quick Wins” report shows classes to target if you want to lift your over-all coverage score.

Read more info on these and other features, including details of our upcoming Beta Program. We’d love to get any feedback you might have.
